What else do we do?
The staff at Appalachian Arborists are exceptionally dedicated to the health of our community's trees. In addition to our commercial work we take every opportunity to educate the public about current tree issues. Our outreach highlights common pest and health issues pertinent to our community. We are currently working as consultants on a documentary film called "The Vanishing Hemlock".
Appalachian Arborists has been providing corporate funding for research projects regarding the development of new management techniques as well as furthering our knowledge of threatened species. Furthermore, our staff provide expert testimony in working groups regarding pest issues and management.
