Proactive Pruning

Proactive pruning is one of the best ways to improve the health, structure, and beauty of your trees.  Many structural problems can be prevented with proper and judicious pruning.  Maintenance pruning can prevent future problems while enhancing natural beauty.  We do not top trees.  Topping is an unacceptable and destructive practice.  We offer alternatives via pruning and urban forest management.

A tree with structural problems can be a hazard to you and your home.  Many structural defects are hard to recognize, but we have the training to help find and correct potential problems before they happen.  Most hazards are preventable with timely pruning.

Construction Consultation

Any construction or activity done on a property that affects the soil could potentially affect the trees in the area.  If contacted before any construction begins, we can give you options to help complete your project with minimal adverse impacts to your trees.

Insect and disease control is an increasingly needed service provided in western North Carolina, especially in the wake of Hemlock Woolly Adelgid infestation.  We currently have six NC Certified Pesticide Applicators.  We specialize in hemlock woolly adelgid, scale, and mite control.
